Christopher Vanier
Christopher Vanier, the author of this book, was born in 1942 on the tropical island of St Kitts in the British West Indies. After winning a Caribbean-wide essay competition on Abraham Lincoln in 1958, he earned an M.A. at Cambridge University in the UK and a Ph.D. at Syracuse University in the USA, both in Chemical Engineering.
