In 2006, I chose to retire from the business of being a certified public accountant. I returned to school to work on a master of arts in earth literacy/global sustainability. In 2009, I graduated with said degree from St. Mary of the Woods College. Through the educational process, I realized that the biggest danger to our lakes, rivers, and oceans is “plastic.”
