CARMEN TURNER, a native of San Diego, California, has been writing poetry for over 15 years. For the past 7 years Carmen has been a motivational speaker, concluding with standing ovations and thunderous applause. She also volunteers at the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. When Carmen is not busy writing or volunteering, she enjoys walks on the beach, spending time with her two sons, friends and reading.
