Burdella “Carmen” Turner, a homeless teen mother at sixteen, began her adult life educationally disadvantaged. She is now driven by a life mission to sublimate inner city bitterness and fear. Now the mother of two grown sons, she resides in San Diego, California, where she is an accomplished and inspirational speaker.
