Mary has travelled the world with her late husband, astronaut James Irwin. Together they’ve searched for biblical antiquities throughout the Middle East. In 1972, the pair began a nonprofit Christian organization, High Flight Foundation. Mary lives in Colorado Springs and enjoys spending time with her five children and fourteen grandchildren.
