Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Blue Throatwort is the author of the book, Time is my Best Friend. She spent her early years in Shah Alam, Selangor before moving to Seremban, where she completed her remaining primary and secondary education in a convent school, having admittedly better schooling life in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus.
