The author was born Thanksgiving morning, 1933, in Fort Pierce, Florida. A teacher at heart, in college she studied to teach in high schools. After marriage, her husband’s career transfers greatly changed their lives. Her jobs became everchanging opportunities in the eastern United States across many regions and among diverse cultures.
