Bevis Hanson
Bevis has worked in libraries in both New Zealand and Australia, and this led him to writing his own books. He works in a predominantly Polynesian-populated area in South Auckland, and the literacy issues that come with the migrant families, where English is a second language, prompted him to write children’s books that would engage them.
