Betsie du Rand
As the youngest of three children, I grew up and went to school in the
mall town of Bredasdorp. This town is situated near the southernmost tip
of Africa. After fi nishing school, I studied Catering and Public Relations
at the College of Stellenbosch, after which I worked on wine farms. My
husband and I married in December 2004. We stayed in Citrusdal, and
a year later my brother was suddenly taken from us by Jesus. We then
decided to return to Bredasdorp because I could not leave my parents alone
