Badru Kateregga
Badru D. Kateregga, MA (London), was born in the Muslim community of Butambala in Uganda. He was a lecturer and head of the department of Islamic Studies at Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda. In 1978, he became a lecturer in Islamic Studies and Comparative Religions at Kenyatta University Nairobi, Kenya, where he was subsequently appointed professor of Islamic and Oriental Studies.
