Aunty Val
Val Neill, is known to many as "Aunty Val". She lived in Hainault Essex as a child, with lots of animals and a love of drawing as she grew up. She has never had any professional tutoring with her illustrations, so she regards herself as self taught and when the mood takes her. Some of the stories have been around for over twenty years or more. Whilst working at her sons school in later years, she told her stories with a lot of humour in them, to the children as she helped out as a teacher...
