Ashanta Washington
Ashanta Washington resides in New Orleans, LA. She has always enjoyed writing and is very talented in poetry and motivational speaking. During Hurricane Katrina in August of 2005, Ashanta gave birth to her daughter Janese Washington, with her home destroyed and family displaced, Ashanta was forced to rebuild alone. Through it all her faith has become strong and steady in the Lord. During uncertain circumstances she always knew she could trust God when she could not trace Him. Almost 9 years...
