Armineh Helen Ohanian
Born in Iran, from Armenian origin, Armineh Ohanian has lived in Europe and the United States since 1962. She published her first storybook for children in Tehran at the age of fifteen. For four years, before she turned twenty, she wrote the feature story for the "Noor Jahan" magazine published by the Presbyterian Church of Iran. Armineh has translated several children's storybooks from English and French into Farsi. Her "Talking Animals," a collection of Persian fables, helps fourth graders...
