It has been a joy to write this memoir
as a legacy for my son Dennis and my
daughter Susan and my grandchildren
and great-grandchildren. I have fantastic
family and friends.
I retired after 54 years as a public
school teacher. I loved teaching eighthgraders.
I feel that my students have
given me more than I gave them.
I have spent my years searching and growing and always trying to be a
responsible person. I am living a charmed life.
