Mr. Anwer Ahmed was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on October 28, 1944. In the year 1967, he graduated from the University of Dhaka with a bachelor of commerce degree with honors. Then he joined Pakistan Air Force. He learned reciting the Qur’an and acquired Islamic knowledge during his captivity as a prisoner of war at Shagai Ford in the northwestern Pakistan.
