Anoush Baghdassarian
Anoush Baghdassarian was a senior in high school—age 17—when she wrote this play from late October 2012-January 2013. Since the sixth grade she has always felt it her obligation to inform people of her family’s history. She had learned of this genocide as “the forgotten genocide” and made it her goal to help change that. She believed that through learning about the past, we could prevent history from repeating itself and this sparked her desire to act upon her beliefs.
