Anne Hall
Anne Hall Born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1957 and from there grew up in Seattle, Washington. She went to school in Geneva, Switzerland and St Germain-en-Laye, France and later studied English at Radcliffe College and the University of Washington. Her interest in the Du Mauriers led her to take a PhD in French at the University of California, Berkeley, with a dissertation including George Du Maurier’s memories of the music of his childhood in Passy outside Paris.
