Angelika Bolliger was born in Warsaw to a Polish mother and a Swiss father. Both of her parents were artists, her mum was a satire writer, painter, eco activist and actress, and her father was a film director and screenplay writer. From an early age, she loved making up stories and writing them down as a way of enhancing her reality along with keeping a diary to immortalise her experiences.
