Anasazi Foundation
Anasazi Foundation, founded in 1988 by renowned wilderness pioneers Larry D. Olsen and Ezekiel C. Sanchez (Good Buffalo Eagle), gives young people an opportunity for growth through a primitive living experience and a philosophy that invites healing at the hands of nature. Many of Anasazi’s teachings were inspired by Sanchez and his wife Pauline Martin Sanchez, a Navajo whose given name is Gentle White Dove. More than 4,000 families and 40,000 students have participated in its programs.
