The illustrator (Daniel Jarc) and I created "Bumble Bee" while deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. During our tour in Afghanistan we served as Medical Evacuation (MEDEVAC) helicopter pilots for the U.S. Army.
