I was born on September 30th, 1953 in the Caribbean Island of Barbados, one of the British Colonies. I lived with my mother and eleven siblings. I was educated at St. Leonard’s Girls School with a High School Diploma. At school I was a member of the British Red Cross Society. After graduating, at age 16, I migrated to St. Lucia in 1970.
