Alun Jones
Alun Jones was born in the heart of the Rhondda mining valleys in South Wales. His father was a miner. He has a Ph.D in chemistry, is a Master of Theology and has been a conductor and organist since his teens. He has led many choirs in both concerts and competitions and has a particular interest in Music Therapy. When a boy, a number of his close relatives suffered serious injuries working down coal-mines.
