Alida Van Braeden
About the Author
Alida Van Braeden has been writing poetry since she was 10 years old, and had her first poems published in The Western Producer. Child of a farm family in northern Alberta, Alida has always been familiar with nature and with solitude.
She graduated from the University of Alberta, where she studied Creative Writing with Dorothy Livesay and Rudy Wiebe, and received a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology. She is also engaged in a lifelong study of Theosophy.
