Alex Wong
Alex Wong is the author of two collections of poetry, Poems Without Irony (2016) and Shadow and Refrain (2021). His original and translated verse has appeared widely, as have his critical essays on English literature. He is the author of a critical book, The Poetry of Kissing in Early Modern Europe (2017), and has taught for over a decade at the University of Cambridge. For Carcanet he has previously edited and introduced the works of A.C. Swinburne and Walter Pater.
