Adebanke Cabean
Adebanke was born on July 31 1972 in Osun state,
Nigeria daughter of Samuel and Bernice Adeleye. She
attended elementary and middle school in Nigeria and
moved to the United States in 1989. She attended high
school at Stillwater High in Oklahoma and graduated
from Kecoughtan High in Virginia. It was in High
school she began writing poems as an artistic outlet to
express most of her emotions. Most of her poems are
Christian infl uenced. Being that her Christian beliefs
has been paramount in her life....
