Sinopsis

நகரமும் பெருநகரமும் ஆதவனின் கதைகளங்கள். மத்தியதர வர்க்க மனிதர்களே அவரது கதை மாந்தர்கள். இந்தக் களத்தில் அந்த மனிதர்கள் வாழ்வின் பொருட்டு மேற்கொள்ளும் செயல்களை சமரசமற்ற விமர்சனத்துடனும் அதேசமயம் பரிவுடனும் வெளிப்படுத்துபவை அவரது கதைகள். உண்மைகளுக்குள் மறைக்கப்படும் போலித்தனங்களையும் பொய்மைகளுக்குள் ஒளிந்திருக்கும் நிஜங்களையும் பகிரங்கப்படுத்தும் கலைப்பார்வை அவருடையது.
ஆதவனின் கதைகளிலிருந்து அவருடைய ஆளுமையை எடுத்துக்காட்டும் பதினாறு சிறுகதைகளை கொண்டது இந்தத் தொகுப்பு.
The city and its expanse are where Aadhavan's stories happen. Middle class come there to live as his characters. He is as empathetic as he is critical about their actions, and all the paths life drags them through. His eye is of an artist who can expose truth and falsity, hiding in each other.
