Sinopsis

“Notes on the Cuffs” is a partly autobiographical novel written by Mikhail Bulgakov in 1922-1923. During the writer's lifetime, the story was never published in its entirety. The currently preserved text is divided into two parts (in the original version the story consisted of three parts).The first part is about the writer's life in Vladikavkaz. The lyrical hero reflects on literature, seeks to create an association of writers. The second part describes the adventures of the hero in Moscow. The novel is filled with humor, mysticism, completely unexpected plot twists.
