Sinopsis

نشر الشاعر الفيلسوف محمد إقبال أول دواوينه الفلسفية «أسرار خودي» سنة 1915م، وهو منظومة طويلة في بحر واحد، وعلى القافية المزدوجة، مقسمة إلى فصول يوضِّح فيها فلسفته في الذاتية فكرة بعد فكرة، ويصورها في صور شعرية رائعة.
ثم نشر ديوانه الثاني المتصل بهذا الديوان «رموز بي خودي» وهي كلمة فارسية تدل على الأثرة والإعجاب بالنفس، ولكن إقبالًا نقلها إلى معنى آخر جعله قاعدة فلسفته، هو تعرف الإنسان نفسه، وتقويتها، وإخراج ما أودع فيها من مواهب
يقول محمد اقبال "… إني بفطرتي وتربيتي أنزع إلى التصوف، وقد زادتني فلسفة أوروبا نزوعًا إليه، فإن هذه الفلسفة في جملتها تنزع إلى وحدة الوجود؛ ولكن بتَدَبُّر القرآن المجيد، ومطالعة تاريخ الإسلام بإمعان ،عدلت عن أفكاري الأولى، وجاهدت ميلي الفطري، وحِدْتُ عن طريق آبائي."

في القصائد الإنسانية يضيف باييخو إلى إنجازاته الطليعية الفنية، رؤية كونية للألم الإنساني؛ فعالمه يزداد مرارة، ويتحول الحنين إلى الأماكن والأشياء العائلية إلى سرّ طلسمي، تؤرقه التساؤلات عن مغزى هذه الحياة. ومما يضاعف من مأساوية القصائد أن قسماً كبيراً منها كُتب في أيام البؤس والمرض، وتحت وطأة مأساة الحرب الأهلية الإسبانية، فجاءت مفعمة بالقيم الروحية والإلحاح على التضامن الإنساني، لأن الآلام والشرور هائلة، وليس الإنسان هو الذي يكبر ويتعاظم وإنما التعاسة والبؤس والألم. لقد شيّد باييخو في قصائده الإنسانية ملحمة الألم اليومي للإنسان، فحق ما قيل في هذا الكتاب من أنه يمثل في الشعر ما مثلته التكعيبية في الرسم، وأن باييخو مثله مثل بيكاسو، عرف في حياته كيف يكون كلاسيكياً من أفضل الكلاسيكيين
