  يصوغ الشاعر محمد الغرباوي قصائد مجموعته الشعرية (نحن خيل لا يتثائب) بتلقائية وحس رومانسي ، هو امتداد لما قدمه من مجموعات شعرية سابقة ، ولاشك أن القصيدة الرومانسية لن تموت؛ لأنها جزء لا يتجزأ من وجدان حركة الشعر ، لكن النقاد يؤكدون أيضا على عدم وجود قصيدة رومانسية من الألف إلى الياء، وربما تعكس قصائد " الغرباوي" الفترة الزمنية التي كتبت فيها، فالشعراء الرومانسيين يستلهمون دائماً رؤى الخيال الانساني بكتابتهم عن ما يمكن أن يكون في الخيال، الذي هو القصيدة نفسها تلك التي يؤكدها الاستمرار والدوام بإلهام الفكر في أولئك الذين يقرأونها، حتى لو قرأها شخص واحد.
