  الشاعر سميح القاسم كرس كل همه للقضية الفلسطينية وأخلص لهذه القضية حتى أنه قال عن موقفه من التطبيع العربى مع إسرائيل "لو طبع كل العرب سوف يبقى واحد فى الجليل رافضاً للتطبيع هو سميح القاسم".
