يضم هذا الكتاب بين دفتيه مجموعة من القصائد المختارة ، اختارها وقدمها وقام بتحليلها النقدي الناقد القدير د. محمد حسن عبد الله، حيث يقول: " يغلب على ظني أن أجود الاختيار ما ساق إليه الشغف بالشعر نفسه، والرغبة الحرة في تقليب صفحات الدواوين عبر العصور، وعبر الفنون، أو الأغراض، وبهذا المعنى لم أحاول إقحام المنطق، أو الفكر في " ترتيبات " قصائد لا ينم اختيارها على أي ترتيب، فهكذا تعاقبت القصائد بغير خطة مسبقة، ولكن هناك جانب إيجابي، وهو: أن يتلقى القارئ كل قصيدة على حدة، على أنها كيان مستقل، وبناء خاص له جمالياته المميزة، ومعناه المنفرد. ومن المؤكد أن هذا السياق (غير الممنهج، أو المدبر سلفا) سيؤدي عند استكمال قراءة القصائد في جملتها إلى تكوين ذائقة شعرية، وحاسة جمالية، وخبرة نقدية بفنون الشعر، وطبائع عصوره، وبالشعراء، وما يميز توجهاتهم الفكرية والنفسية والفنية".Ver libro
نعم كان هذا طموحي وأنا أبدأ في هذه المخاطرة؛ أن أقدم صياغة شعرية مختصرة لأحداث السيرة الكبيرة، بحيث يكون الكتاب بمثابة متنٍ شعريّ فصيح طويل يمكن لكلّ عربيّ أن يفهمه أو يقتبسه ومن ثم تحتفظ السيرة بتوثيق شعبيّ جديد لا يغني أبدًا عن أصلها العاميّ ولا عن الاستماع إلى التفاصيل الممتعة التي يضطرنا التكثيف إلى تجاوزها نحو قلب الحكاية.Ver libro
