Sinopsis

The Gospel of Matthew, perhaps the most detailed Biblical account of the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, begins with a genealogy reaching back to Abraham. This first book of the New Testament includes familiar passages such as the Sermon on the Mount (chapters 5-7), the Lord's Prayer, many of the healings and parables also found in the other three gospels, and the Great Commission (chapter 28), as well as deeply sobering words about the call to follow Jesus.
