Many people have a special bond with animals, but few have the ability to understand the innermost thoughts, feelings, and desires of different creatures. Author Tim Link is one such individual - a man blessed with the ability to communicate with animals telepathically.
In this audiobook, the author details some of his most dramatic and moving encounters with the animal kingdom. From helping a lost cat find her way home to comforting a Catalan sheepdog after back surgery, Link shares stories that are both entertaining and heartfelt. A full-time animal communicator and a Reiki energy healer for animals, Link has never failed to reach an animal, even if that animal has transitioned to the next world. In these dramatic and moving stories, Link describes how he communicates with animals, not only in words, but also through feelings, smells, tastes, emotions, and images. By building powerful intuitive connections with other species, Link has transformed the lives of numerous animals and the people who care for them. His stories will transform the lives of listeners as well, as they learn to open their minds and hearts to all creatures great and small.
Whether it's a story of joy, loneliness, or redemption, every animal has a tale, and Tim Link has brought magically resonant tales to life in this powerful collection of stories.
A portion of all proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to animal rescue organizations.

Racundra's First Cruise is Arthur Ransome's account of Racundra's maiden voyage, which took place in August and September 1922. The cruise took him from Riga, in Latvia to Helsingfors (Helsinki) in Finland, via the Moon Sound and Reval (Tallinn) in Estonia and back. His first book on sailing, it was also the first of his titles that achieved such high levels of success. Although reprinted many times in various editions and formats, Fernhurst Books' hardback edition of the title (2003) was the first to use the original text in its entirety - with the original layout, maps and photographs - and also includes an excellent introduction by Brian Hammett containing a treasure trove of previously unpublished writings, essays and photographs. Ransome's first attempts at Baltic sailing, in his two previous boats, Slug and Kittiwake, are also explained in detail using his writings and illustrations. The life of Ransome's beloved Racundra is chronicled to its conclusion and there is an explanation of how he came to write the book. The original illustrations are enhanced by the inclusion of present day photographs of the same locations. Having gone out of print in 2012, this new paperback edition retains all of the original and additional features; bringing back to life Ransome's epic first cruise in his pride and joy, his treasured Racundra.

Turn to an ancient Japanese needlework technique to update your home in a striking and minimalist way—from the author of The Ultimate Sashiko Source Book.

The traditional Japanese embroidery technique, sashiko, is currently a major sewing trend in craft, interior design, and fashion. The big stitches are used to create stunning, geometric patterns and texture to make homewares with a stylish, Japanese minimalist look.

This collection of eight simple sashiko patterns allows you try the technique yourself—projects include a tote bag, greetings cards, cushion, table mats, coaster, pocket hanging, a long sampler and Ranru hanging.

Susan Briscoe is a leading expert in this traditional Japanese sewing technique, having first been introduced to sashiko in the early 1990s while teaching English in northern Japan.

“This book, like the craft that it takes as its focus, is minimalist and small . . . But I think that the simplicity of this collection really allows the individual pieces to shine . . . The photography is stunning, placing modern design against white walls with bits of Japanese art and decor sprinkled in.” —Right Sides Together
