  Muisca Confederation - The Land...

  The Muisca Confederation was one of the most sophisticated political entities in pre-Columbian South America, emerging in the highlands of present-day Colombia. The origins of this powerful society can be traced back to the earliest inhabitants of the Eastern Cordillera of the Andes, a region characterized by fertile valleys, cool mountain climates, and abundant natural resources. Over time, these early settlers developed complex social structures, agricultural techniques, and political institutions that would form the foundation of the Muisca Confederation.  
  The first groups to settle in the high-altitude plateaus of the Andean region arrived thousands of years ago, likely migrating from Central America or other parts of South America. These early inhabitants lived in small, semi-nomadic communities, relying on hunting, fishing, and rudimentary farming. As they adapted to their environment, they developed advanced agricultural methods, cultivating maize, potatoes, quinoa, and other crops suited to the high-altitude terrain. The fertile lands and steady supply of food allowed for population growth, leading to the establishment of permanent settlements. 
  As Muisca society evolved, it became increasingly hierarchical, with distinct roles emerging among its members. The transition from small, scattered villages to organized chiefdoms marked a significant turning point in their history. Power began to concentrate in the hands of local leaders, or caciques, who governed their respective communities. Over time, these leaders expanded their influence, forming alliances and asserting control over larger territories. The most powerful of these rulers eventually became the Zipa of Bacatá and the Zaque of Hunza, the two principal leaders who governed the northern and southern regions of the Muisca Confederation.

  Let's not beat around the bush, Covid made a total mess for musicians, producers, bands, DJs, road crew, venue owners, lighting engineers, and anyone else involved in the industry. 
  The main lesson that I learnt from it all… Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. 
  Now, during the aftermath of it all, we see the cost-of-living crisis, and now a recession… so, we need to find new ways to protect ourselves from anything that could endanger our livelihoods again in the future. 
  I know the struggle and have sacrificed a lot over the last 3 years, working tirelessly to find ways to build myself back up to continue to thrive in this madness that we call a post-covid world. 
  So, I wrote a book about it, giving you all the strategies and tools to help you easily build multiple streams of income from the skills that you already have as a producer/musician. 
  Use my knowledge and experience to skip the struggle, evolve, and move up in the game... all while looking after your wellbeing and personal life at the same time. 
  There are two types of people in this world: Those who go after what they want, and everybody else.

  Born in 1852 in a small coastal town in Scotland, Helen D'Oyly Carte, through academic brilliance and an incredible talent for 'managing chaos', developed and ran the world's foremost top entertainment and hospitality organisation with her husband, Richard D'Oyly Carte (known as D'Oyly). From a conventional upbringing, she chose to remain in London after the emigration of her family to Australia, first as an actress, then working alongside D'Oyly – she took over the reins as he became ill in the late 1880s. Until her death in 1913, she flourished and was famous, interviewed and admired, in a competitive, vibrant London that was the centre of world power and commerce. Queen of The Savoy charts Helen's course from Wigtown to the West End, where running a company with hundreds of employees, led to her fame and fortune. The artists Whistler and Sickert were friends and immortalised her in portraits. She was known in her time as the true founder of the Gilbert and Sullivan franchise and this biography will bring to light, some 110 years after her death, the extraordinary role that she played in one of Britain's greatest success stories.
