Sinopse

In the heart of an ancient, untamed forest lies a long-abandoned house—a place shrouded in whispers, lost to time and the memories of those who dared to venture too close. When a group of friends—Ben, Mila, Jay, Flor, and Mark—hear rumors of the house’s dark history, they set out on a dare to spend one night within its decaying walls. What begins as a challenge quickly spirals into a nightmare as they encounter strange whispers, ghostly apparitions, and a malevolent presence that seems to have been waiting for them all along.

As the night deepens, the group discovers the house's twisted past—a tale of betrayal, murder, and dark rituals that have cursed the land itself. Their minds begin to unravel, and fear sets in as they realize that the house is no mere structure; it is a living entity, feeding on their terror and secrets.

In a desperate bid to escape, the friends find themselves trapped in the very forest that led them there, with no safe refuge to turn to. The line between reality and madness blurs as they race against time to break the curse and escape, but the house has other plans—plans that will haunt them long after they leave its walls.

Whispers in the Woods is a chilling psychological horror novel that explores the darkest corners of the human psyche and the terrifying consequences of confronting what should never be disturbed.

Brought to you by Altrusian Grace Media and narrated by Matthew Schmitz, and includes a fully immersive cinematic music score.
"The Alchemist" is a short story by American writer H. P. Lovecraft. It was written in 1908, when Lovecraft was 17 or 18, and first published in the November 1916 issue of the United Amateur.
The story is recounted by the protagonist, Count Antoine de C, in the first person. Hundreds of years ago, Antoine's noble ancestor was responsible for the death of a dark wizard, Michel Mauvais. The wizard's son, Charles le Sorcier, swore revenge on not only him but all his descendants, cursing them to die on reaching the age of 32.
The protagonist recounts how his ancestors all died in some mysterious way around the age of 32. The line has dwindled and the castle has been left to fall into disrepair, tower by tower. Finally, Antoine is the only one left, with one poor servant, Pierre, who raised him, and a tiny section of the castle with a single tower is still usable. Antoine has reached adulthood, and his 32nd year is approaching...

Through the Looking Glass and Straight Into Hell, by Christa Carmen
Addiction is the perpetual epidemic, where swarms of human moths flutter to the flames of hell. Because that warm blanket of a heroin high, that joyful intoxication of a pint of vodka, that electric energy from a line of cocaine, over time leaves you with a cold loneliness and a bitter heart. Relationships destroyed, bodies deteriorate, loved ones lost, yet the craving continues for that which is killing us—living, as the title suggests, like an Orphan of Bliss.
Welcome to the third and final fix of addiction horror and the follow up to the Shirley Jackson Award Finalist, Lullabies For Suffering. A diverse table of contents brought together for an explosive grand finale-an unflinching look at the insidious nature of addiction, told with searing honesty but compassion for those who suffer.
