Much to their surprise, the Peaches had a great summer running their food truck business selling their pies across the Mid-West, but they're happy to be back home in Duluth, Minnesota, where they can settle back into a routine just in time for the new school year.

That is until Great Aunt Lucinda drops a big surprise on them: She wants to gift them her historic mansion. But there are conditions: they're to turn it into a cozy and welcoming bed-and-breakfast, something the Peach kids' mom always dreamed of before she passed away. And they only have until Thanksgiving to do the renovations and prove they can make the business work. It looks like it's a new chapter of The Great Peach Experiment.

But as the Peaches roll up their sleeves, they quickly realize the house is more of a pit than a welcoming escape. And as the family juggles builders, possible hauntings, doggie obedience training, a treasure hunt, and the demands and worries of work and school, they soon realize that there are wonderful secrets hidden within the house's walls, if only they can take the time to see them.

THE GIRL BROWNIES – ASHDOWN FOREST, ENGLAND 1919
Book 6 of 6 The Legend of the Forest Guardian
The summary of this final book in the series is as follows:
As autumn settles over Ashdown Forest, the Girl Brownies encounter strange phenomena—mysterious footprints, disappearing items, and eerie whistling—that locals attribute to the legendary Forest Guardian. Their investigation (complete with flour traps and night watches) culminates in a dramatic reveal: their mentor Mr. Hawthorne has been perpetuating the myth to protect the woods, using clever tricks like oversized footprints and wartime whistling techniques.
The girls' final adventure teaches them that true guardianship isn't supernatural—it's the quiet dedication of those who love the forest. As winter approaches, they realize they've become Ashdown's next generation of protectors, carrying forward the spirit of the legend through their own conservation work.
The initial opening credit music, “Joyful Journey”, which does run to approximately 2 minutes sets the scene, so to speak, recorder, tambourine, guitar and accordion in a folk/classical and cheerful mood. The closing music, “Bloom”, ends the tale on with more of the same at about 2 minutes and the same musical instruments etc. but more of an ending feel.
The story and music itself runs to just about 35 minutes and is narrated in my wife's voice, Claire, who actually was a ranger guide!
I do hope you enjoy this audiobook and let me know what you think, there are a lot more to come
