Sinopse

Amy’s life has been a rollercoaster of highs and lows. She married actor Will Arnett, had two sons, and navigated the pressures of balancing a family and a demanding career. She writes candidly about her time on Saturday Night Live (SNL), her divorce from Will Arnett, and her lessons about life, work, and love. One chapter features Seth Meyers’ account of what happened the weekend her first son, Archie, was born. Another chapter includes a funny letter Amy wrote to herself about the unrealistic expectations she had going into motherhood. 
Despite her success, Amy has always been a realist. She reflects on mistakes, including a controversial joke she made on SNL about a disabled person. When she realized her error, she made sure to track down the individual and apologize. In doing so, she learned a valuable lesson about compassion, forgiveness, and owning up to your mistakes. 
Amy’s journey took her from working the comedy circuit in Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles to finding her breakout role as Leslie Knope on Parks and Recreation. Along the way, she met and collaborated with comedy legends like Tina Fey and Seth Meyers, both of whom played key roles in shaping her career.
