When Philippe breaks the number one rule of his and Jona's friends-with-benefits relationship by falling in love, he considers if it's time to pull away to protect his heart. Jona is honest from the start -- only physical, no romance -- even if the tender caresses when Jona thinks he's asleep contradict his words.

But when Jona shows up at Philippe's cottage in the woods on the eve of both Christmas and a looming blizzard, seemingly intent on being snowed in together, Philippe can't help but wonder. What lies behind Jona's aversion to romantic relationships? Can honest confessions during a snowstorm reveal if there's a chance for something deeper?

After a lifetime of failed relationships, non-binary history professor Sam Bell is committed to a new (non)romantic strategy: Thirst Only. It's the actual drinking where things get too complicated, where Sam inevitably gets hurt.

Sam is good at being thirsty, though, especially when it's karaoke night at The Moonlight Café. Moonie's is fun. Comfortable. Safe. Except for tonight, when one by one, all of Sam's friends abandon them. Disappointed, they prepare to leave—until their #1 karaoke crush catches their eye . . .

For Lily Fischer, karaoke at Moonie's is the only time she can step outside of her quiet shell. At Moonie's, Lily can pretend to be someone else: someone bold, who takes what she wants. And tonight, what Lily wants is the way Sam looks at her across the room as she sings her signature opening song.

As the night progresses, both Sam's and Lily's personal fears are tested, and the real world outside of Moonie's looms. But maybe sometimes, the real world should be a little more like karaoke. It's not always about knowing all the right words or having the perfect voice. Maybe all Sam and Lily need is a little courage to pick up the mic, and sing anyway.

Victor is determined to put that erotic night with Julian out of his head and the guilty he felt for taking his virginity.
Julian is now his employee which meant there has to be boundaries. He convinces himself that was little more than an itch he needed to scratch. Though it might be a bad idea to now have him so close but did not want the poor boy to remain on those cruel streets. Not that he cared, Victor Belmont cared for nobody. He would simply consider it a small mercy to the boy having three daily meals, clothes and shelter under his glorious mansion.
Julian couldn't ask for more and the banker thought he earned it after that satisfying night with him.
