A straight stud is starting to break…
Wade still struts around school in his varsity jacket like he’s the king of the world. Laughing it up with his jock buddies. Making out with his cheerleader girlfriend. Bullying the “queers”. But behind the eyes he’s starting to get desperate.
Wade hasn’t had sex in a week. Any kind of sex. Not since I put his manhood under lock and key. I wonder how much longer he can take it. Another day? Two? Pretty soon, the frustration will be too much, and he’ll do anything I want just to get some release.
    There’s only one problem:
It turns out that I’m not the only one who has Wade in training. And somebody else wants to break him first.

Her life may be what it takes, however, for a Norman warlord known only as The Wolf is pillaging his way right to the abbey's doors. But when The Wolf arrives, Tate finds not the brutal man she was expecting, but instead a cruel and beautiful woman who leads her men with a ferocity to rival that of her Viking ancestors.
And after she sets eyes on Tate, it becomes clear that gold and silver aren't the only things The Wolf wants to carry off into the night…

    W. B. Yeats meets Gregg Araki at a gay bar.

The Tower is a "translation" of W. B. Yeats's The Tower—an homage and reinvention of the poet’s greatest work. Whereas Yeats’s book contended with his mortality as an aging spiritualist Irish Senator, this version contends with a new mortality: ours.

The poems in this collection crystallize the transition from Legault’s late twenties to his early thirties, situated in North America during a time of political upheaval. It takes each of Yeats’s poems as a starting point and queers them. It translates Yeats’s modernist urge, on the other side of a long century.

In her review of The Tower, Virginia Woolf says Yeats has “never written more exactly and more passionately.” One might imagine she’d conclude the same here. You can’t fault these poems for lacking passion.

Yeats used to talk to ghosts. His wife would let ghosts talk through her. They would talk to Yeats, and he would write down what they say. Another way you could put it is that Yeats talked to his wife. Ghosts are much closer than you think. They like to live in books. So Legault spent some time talking to Yeats’s ghost. Or, Yeats’s ghost talked to him. This is him talking back.

"Through Legault, the opening of Yeats’ words in the title poem shift and turn from absurdity to one of anxieties around ageing" —rob mclennan's Blog

"If you've never cared about poetry, you will after reading these modern-day renderings..." —Maria-Claire

Sloane West is an ex-New York City cop turned private investigator, Irish whiskey aficionado, and untrained witch in an emotional slump. Her mother just died, and her ex-best friend and ex-lover have sent her an invitation to their upcoming nuptials. Thankfully, a solicitor arrives and distracts her faster than a night of drinking Jameson neat with news that Sloane has inherited her late grandparents'—who she didn't know existed—island estate.

When Sloane refuses, the solicitor encourages her to at least visit her mother's birthplace. Eager to discover her magical roots and a birthright her mother hid, Sloane agrees. As she's finalizing travel plans, a man kicks in her door and turns a gun on her, but Sloane kills him with her unchecked magical strength. Now she has to figure out who wants her dead.

On the island, she first discovers family and friends who stand with her in her investigation. And as the attacks on Sloane and her newly found coven intensify, Sloane must choose whether to embraces her power as a protector, or flee from her birthright.
