"The Shadow on the Spark" is a riveting early 20th-century detective drama that blends medical intrigue, courtroom suspense, and the unrelenting pursuit of truth. When esteemed physician Dr. Milton Jarvis returns from Europe, he’s greeted not by celebration—but by the obituary of his closest friend, banker Jim Craighead.

His instincts—and scientific expertise—lead him to probe deeper into a tangled web of misdirection, manipulation, and a sinister prescription. At the center lies Tessie Prettyman, a seemingly innocent young woman caught between love, loyalty, and a haunting connection to a criminal underworld.
Through razor-sharp deduction and groundbreaking forensic insight, Jarvis challenges the assumptions of an entire courtroom in a dramatic revelation that will shake even the most seasoned mystery fans.
Perfect for listeners who love Golden Age mysteries, scientific sleuthing, and edge-of-your-seat courtroom climaxes.
