A collection of 7 adventure books designed to stimulate an interest in science for children ages 6 to 10. Each book features illustrations on every page and is available for individual purchase. Published in Spanish, Catalan, and English.
The collection consists of Xenia's life, a very creative and dreamy girl who shares her adventures with her cousin Alex, who will be always accompanying her. The children's laughter attracts the attention of Mr Black Hole, the most fearsome monster in the Cosmos, who schemes up a plan to make Chatipan and the children disappear. They also have a meeting with the Prince of the Galaxies, who shows them his starry gardens, which include the Milky Way, the home of our beautiful planet Earth. The Galactic Girl takes them back to her village called Santa Pau, in the north of Catalonia, Spain.
The author, in addition to being the owner of these two collections for children, in 2022 published two novels in Spanish: "Los entresijos de una vida" and "Heridas silenciosas”. Both based on real events that happened to Petry, a Chilean orphan, who travels to Spain to find her roots. All books can be found in en www.amazon.com or in “Tibet House Foundation”, of Barcelona, Roselló, 181, Bcn. Mas información en: www.chatipan.net
Between 2024 and 2025, the writer donated all her books to the “Tibet House Foundation”, of Barcelona, to contribute to the education of Tibetan orphans who have fled Tibet. This is because the Chinese authorities are erasing their Tibetan language and traditions in schools, requiring children to learn only Mandarin. Help the cause please, by buying a book.

In days gone by, groups of West Indian men, women , boys and girls would congregate on evenings and tell tales. When a story was finished, the narrator would say :"I stepped on the wire and the wire won't bendand that is how my story end".Some of the short stories in this collection have been awarded prizes in international competitions. The majority are written in standard English. A few, though are expressed in the beautiful Barbadian English that many readers find enjoyable. In these days of global warming and super storms "9-22" is especially relevant. It recounts the experiences of a young boy as Hurricane Janet raged on September 22, 1955. "Knight-Mayers" pokes a bit of fun at the use of "double-barreled" names by married ladies. "Fo'day Morning" is one of the author's first successes as it won third prize in an international competition sponsored by the BBC in England. "Well, Well, Well" copped first prize in another competition sponsored by the Government of Venezuela in the 1980s. "The Bend" is one of the author's favorites. If you are not moved by his treatment of the subject of human trafficking, you will be touched by the beautiful song "Why Me" at the beginning. Please enjoy and share these stories. Miguel Rosado wants nothing more than to see and draw the world … or at least anywhere beyond the four walls of his family’s bodega in Washington Heights.

Too bad his mami and papi have him working long hours after school, hoping he’ll appreciate the sacrifices they’ve made to keep the store afloat. For street-savvy and newly adopted cat Lolo, that sounds just perfect if it means he’s far, far away from the hungry, lonely nights he once spent in the freezing-cold outdoors.

But when Miguel ditches his responsibilities and lies to his parents about joining art club, his dream of juggling it all comes crashing down. Lolo will have to decide if he’s willing to be there for his new friend Miguel through anything—even venturing back into the frightful and busy New York City sidewalks. Can they trust each other enough to take on this adventure together?

“A warm tale that embraces, sings, purrs, and never lets go! Bodega Cats reminds us home is wherever a friend can be found!”—Julian Randall, author of Pilar Ramirez and the Escape from Zafa
