Summary

From kidnapped child to Cheyenne brave to General Custer’s aide, no hero in the West had such a time as Little Big Man Jack Crabb sits in his nursing home, 111 years old and ready to spin a yarn. He’s the last surviving western hero, a frontier original with a knack for stumbling into history. After his family was killed in a raid, Crabb was raised as an Indian, learning to ride, hunt, fight, and kill like the proudest of Cheyenne warriors. For the rest of his life, he slipped back and forth between the worlds of the Cheyenne and the white men, watching 1 half of his people extinguish the other, bit by bit. From the moment he 1st learned to notch a bow to the bloody day known as Custer’s Last Stand, Little Big Man lived the wildest life in the Wild West.   An utterly original novel, Little Big Man is considered one of the funniest Westerns ever written and a classic of American literature.

When the Divine Plan is stupid, humanity’s future is at stake.
Due to an unfortunate calendar mistake, the Divine Plan faces a hiccup. Instead of giving birth to the Chosen One, the Martian Rebel Keila Eisenstein unleashes the evil Space Demon Rangda Kaliankan and her army of man-eating Xenos upon humankind.
“Fortunately”, The True Maker, the supreme deity of the Milky Way Galaxy, has a plan for dealing with the new threat. To convince Keila’s ex Metatron to find a surrogate mother for his and Keila’s unborn embryo, so the Chosen One can be born and sort out the mess that the True Maker caused. Six months later, Sabina is born.
Meanwhile, the new German leader, Hilda Muller realises how to save Earth from the Xeno invasion. Since the Germans haven’t won a war in a millennium, she bribes the Xeno invaders with copious quantities of German beer, which saves Earth. Because of Hilda’s grand plan, she is promoted to planetary leader.
Having failed to invade Earth, Rangda comes up with a new plan. She allies with the Martian Madman Melchior Dorevitch and his cannibal army. Together they defeat Rangda’s ancient enemies the Zetans. After this, Rangda, and Melchior begins an odyssey around the Milky Way looking for the magical plot devices, the Zeto Crystals.
Eventually, Rangda has all the Zeto Crystals, and Sabina, as the Chosen One, has to face Rangda. But there is an issue… Sabina hasn’t trained and doesn’t seem very keen to carry out the Divine Plan.
In the end, only a miracle can save us!

In Trump Ninja vs. Fake America, our wanna-be-Proud-Boy-in-Chief realizes the only way to stop the libtards, BLM, and Antifa-types from laughing at him, criticizing him, and voting him out, is to get rid of them all entirely.

The Helmet of Horror - The Myth...

“A brilliant new telling” of the Theseus and Minotaur myth set in a cyberspace labyrinth—from the award-winning Russian writer (Publishers Weekly, starred review).

Victor Pelevin, the iconoclastic and wildly interesting contemporary Russian novelist who The New Yorker named one of the Best European Writers Under 35, upends any conventional notions of mythology in this “sharp, funny and . . . numinous” novel (The Sunday Times).

By creating a mesmerizing world where the surreal and the hyperreal collide, The Helmet of Horror is a radical retelling of the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur set in an Internet chat room. They have never met, they have been assigned strange pseudonyms, they inhabit identical rooms that open out onto very different landscapes, and they have entered a dialogue they cannot escape—a discourse defined and destroyed by the Helmet of Horror. Its wearer is the dominant force they call Asterisk, a force for good and ill in which the Minotaur is forever present and Theseus is the great unknown. The Helmet of Horror is structured according to the way we communicate in the twenty-first century—using the Internet—yet instilled with the figures and narratives of classical mythology. It is a labyrinthine examination of epistemological uncertainty that radically reinvents this myth for an age where information is abundant but knowledge ultimately unattainable.

“The classical myth is reinterpreted with black-comic brio . . . Is Pelevin after all Russia’s Thomas Pynchon?”—Kirkus Reviews

“A brilliant post-modern, eclectic vision of myth, mind and meaning. And of the human dilemma and its horns, ancient and modern.”—A. S. Byatt, The Times
