Sinopsis

Detox Myths tackles the widespread confusion surrounding addiction recovery by debunking the idea that simple "detoxification" is a sufficient solution. Instead, it champions evidence-based treatments rooted in science. A key insight is that addiction alters brain function, requiring a multifaceted approach for sustainable recovery. The book emphasizes that true recovery necessitates addressing the psychological, biological, and social factors at play, moving beyond quick fixes.

The book explores various evidence-based treatments, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT), illustrating their effectiveness through clinical trials and neuroimaging studies. It challenges the notion of a one-size-fits-all solution, advocating for personalized treatment plans and long-term support.

The book progresses by first dismantling common detox myths, then delving into the neuroscience of addiction, and finally presenting practical strategies for individuals, families, and healthcare professionals.

What if death isn’t the end—but the beginning of wisdom?
The Tao of Death is a contemplative journey into the heart of life’s greatest mystery. Inspired by the ancient Tao Te Ching, this poetic adaptation invites you to explore death not with fear, but with reverence—as a sacred teacher that can awaken you to love, presence, and what really matters.
Each verse offers a gentle reflection, guiding you beyond the noise of modern life and into a deeper truth: that death and life are not opposites, but partners in the same sacred dance.
Whether you are grieving, awakening, or simply longing for a quieter path, this spoken version is designed to be listened to slowly, intuitively—like a meditation. Let it accompany you in stillness, in nature, or during times of transformation.
You don’t need to follow a religion to receive this wisdom.
You only need to listen with an open heart.

Pashupat religion under Shaivism was adorned as the oldest sect. The emergence of Pashupat religion was virtually between sixth and fifth century BC. Its creative foundation was primarily confined to the existence of tradition as a result of traditional exchange. Firstly, the concept of Vedic Rudra-Pashupati and the rituals located in its sanctum gave the philosophical foundation of the Pashupat-sect. The influence of the non-Aryan tradition is visible on the upper sides of Pashupat-Dharma. In the third place, in the seventh-century CE, the Muni-Shravan-ideology created that atmosphere, which resulted in the origin of Pashupat-Sampradaya. The Tapasic tradition is the highest belief in the Pashupat sect, its main reason being the influence of the Muni-Shramana ideology. Hence the presentation of this conclusion seems to be justified that the Pashupat-Sampradaya was acclaimed as a byproduct of the devotional and ascetic aspect of the religious revolution that took place in the seventh century AD.
