Sinopsis

Thirtysomething, divorced, and working parttime as a car repossessor to stay out of the poorhouse, exnewspaperman turned private detective Harry James Denton needs clients. But he's surprised when Rachel Fletcher, the woman who stole his heart in college comes through his Nashville office door. She wants him to protect her rich, surgeon husband  a relentless gambler who's on everyone's hit list. He owes big money to a very nasty bookie. But by the time Harry makes contact with the guy he's gone from being in debt to being dead. Now Harry has a murder to solve.
