Sinopsis

The world is gone, but the remnant thrive in an augmented utopia built by Augmosis. Technology integrated into the eyes and ears masks and improves the way each person views their world. Everything, from a person’s appearance to the city's architecture, has been re-sculpted to something better--a new truth.  
But what was once humanity's saviour has now become its master. 
Two people murdered from simple touch. Others disappear in plain view. Entire lives and identities scrubbed from existence without a trace. An unseen hand threatens society from the shadows.  
Detective Hal Briggs partners with Carli, an identity sculptor, to unravel the conspiracy and track down a murderer. But can Briggs solve the puzzle when he is cast aside by the police department? Will Carli's belief in the beauty of their augmented collective remain steadfast when the technology that drives it begins to push back? What will be the cost of liberty and freedom of expression?
