In Hinduism and Buddhism, chakras are thought of as energy centers in the body. They mark places where spiritual energies intersect. The concept of chakras ties into the early Hindu concepts of a physical body and a subtle body. While the physical body consists of mass and is visible, the subtle body — which includes the mind and emotions — consists of energy and is invisible.
In this system, spiritual or psychic energy from the subtle body influences the physical body and vice versa. This means that the status of a person’s chakras can shape their overall health and well-being. Join us for Chakra Stories with Rick Jarrow!

Attraction is measured not only by how a man appears, but also by his confidence and strength. Women tend to favor the cognitive aspect of attraction over the physical one when choosing a partner. Men are afraid to embrace their masculinity because they think it involves aggression, when that is incorrect, and they think acting aggressively is what attracts women. Women are attracted to men who can solve problems in more sophisticated ways rather than using violence.
Women do favor a muscular physical appearance over an unfit one, because it shows a man is healthy and hard-working, which are desirable traits. In addition to muscularity, working out has lots of benefits such as boosting your immune system and increasing bone density.
When choosing a hairstyle, pick one that looks good and that you feel good about. Short to medium hair is recommended, as long hair tends to require lots of grooming and makes you look feminine. Going bald in no way means that you are no longer attractive. Bald men are often seen as more masculine than men with hair, and they consistently are ranked higher in terms of attractiveness. Women also view having facial hair as intriguing and sexy. Facial hair is correlated with masculinity and maturity, as well as high levels of dominance and assertiveness. Having facial hair is the equivalent of a peacock fanning out its feathers to attract a mate.
According to a study published in the British Journal of Urology, penis sizes vary ever so slightly, aside from the extremely large and extremely small, which are exceptions to the rule. Women tend to favor an average size penis over a larger one.

“I was taught to treat everyone the same.” “I don’t see color.” “My parents voted for Obama.” When white people have the opportunity to think and talk about race and racism, they more often than not don’t know how. In this adaptation of Dr. Robin DiAngelo’s bestselling book White Fragility, anti-racist educators Toni Graves Williamson and Ali Michael explain the concept of systemic racism to young adults and how to recognize it in themselves and the world around them. Along the way, Williamson and Michael provide tools for taking action to challenge systems of inequity and racism as they move into adulthood. Throughout the book, listeners will find the following: · A dialogue between the adaptors that models anti-racist discussions · Definitions of key terms · Personal stories from this multiracial team · Discussion prompts to encourage listeners to journal their reactions and feelings · Illustrations to help concepts of white fragility and systemic racism come alive · Portraits of scholars and activists, including Carol Anderson, Ta-Nehisi Coates, and Ijeoma Oluo, whose work is amplified throughout Dr. DiAngelo’s theory of white fragility.
