Summary

ÒWhen she finally did move in with him, he first had her sign a paper, in the form of a contract, under which she agreed to become his slave, to surrender all her rights to him, and to obey him unconditionally; furthermore she agreed in advance to submit to any punishment he might care to inflict in the event of disobedience.Ó In the spring of 1975 Eve Sloan, a twenty-two year old college dropout, was living in a shabby tenement apartment in New YorkÕs East Village, workings days as a clerk in a bookstore while her nights were occupied with casual sex, drugs and writing bad poetry. One day in a Soho gallery she is accosted by Roger Nettles, a wealthy venture capitalist, with whom she ends up having sex in her apartment. Roger, an experienced dominant, quickly sizes her up as a born submissive and proceeds to introduce her to spanking and bondage, to which she responds enthusiastically. Increasingly dissatisfied with her aimless existence while experiencing ecstatic pleasures unknown before, she accepts his offer to come live with him as his slave, agreeing to accept a life of total dependence in which she has no rights of her own but an absolute obligation to submit to all of her MasterÕs desires. As the live-in companion of a wealthy man she is forced to abandon her bohemian ways and is thrust awkwardly into fashionable society, where she becomes known as a great beauty. In the course of her three-year odyssey she encounters a variety of colorful charactersÑthe university professor who teaches history by day and conducts sadomasochistic orgies by night, a dominatrix doctor, a rock drummer with a spanking fetish, a fashion photographer she poses for and who lusts after her, the slave girl with the fragile ego whom she befriends and tries to protect, and Olympia, RogerÕs former lover and now bitter business rival, who guesses her secret life and uses it to torment her.

Specialist John Logan was dedicated to duty--the mission always top priority--and he'd do anything to carry out an assignment. Even if it meant posing as the unthinkable: husband to the newly "recruited" Erin Bailey....He'd shown up in the middle of the night and offered Erin her freedom if she'd pose as his wife to catch an insidious drug lord/arms dealer. Except, given the compromising position she found herself in as victim of a frame-up, Erin was totally at the mercy of her "guardian" as an untrained, stand-in agent. All she had to do was assume someone else's identity, learn the ins and outs of weaponry and share a bed with her dangerously attractive "husband," John Logan. And if she came out of this with her life intact, she'd surely lose her heart in the process! When all else fails, the most highly trained, covert agents are called in to "recover" the mission. This elite group is known as "Specialists". Nothing is too dangerous for them...except falling in...

The definitive compilation of texts from “a great, horrifying, but also vastly illuminating figure . . . one of the most radical minds in Western history” (Newsweek).   The Marquis de Sade, vilified by respectable society from his own time through ours, apotheosized by Apollinaire as “the freest spirit that has yet existed,” wrote The 120 Days of Sodom while imprisoned in the Bastille. An exhaustive catalogue of sexual aberrations and the first systematic exploration—a hundred years before Krafft-Ebing and Freud—of the psychology of sex, it is considered Sade’s crowning achievement and the cornerstone of his thought. Lost after the storming of the Bastille in 1789, it was later retrieved but remained unpublished until 1904.   In addition to The 120 Days, this volume includes Sade’s “Reflections on the Novel,” his play Oxtiern, and his novella Ernestine. The selections are introduced by Simone de Beauvoir’s landmark essay “Must We Burn Sade?” and Pierre Klossowski’s provocative “Nature as Destructive Principle.”   “Imperious, choleric, irascible, extreme in everything, with a dissolute imagination the like of which has never been seen, atheistic to the point of fanaticism, there you have me in a nutshell, and kill me again or take me as I am, for I shall not change.” —Marquis de Sade’s last will and testament

Uptown girl, tattooed bad boy. Think you know which one is wild? You'd be wrong. Greenwich Village is home to successful artist Jimmy Donnelly, and the world is his playground. A broken heart in college left him with zero interest in being tied down. But when he meets a sexy, quick-witted Manhattan attorney, he reconsiders his bad boy ways. Sonja Martin's life is filled with work, an ex-husband who refuses to stay gone, and a teenage daughter who won't follow the rules. Jimmy, with his myriad of tattoos and piercings, looks more like one of her clients than a potential lover. But when every argument between them feels more like foreplay, she can't seem to stay out of his bed. The heat burns through whatever defenses Sonja thought she had. And Jimmy finds his every fantasy fulfilled-and exceeded-by a woman whose fire burns as bright as her fiercely guarded vulnerability. But his case for breaking her out of her self-imposed mold might just be dismissed. And he'll lose the best thing he's ever found. Warning: This book might piss you off. But if I've done my job, while you're busy being pissed off, you'll also fall in love with the hero and the heroine. May contain: A pompous, misogynistic ex-husband. A rebellious teenager. A ton of sex. Adventurous sex. Make-up sex. Desperate-OMG-GET-YOUR-CLOTHES-OFF sex... Did I mention there's a lot of sex?

In this erotic paranormal romance, a supernatural lover is endangered by the woman he lusts for in a novel “so hot the pages should be on fire” (Gena Showalter, New York Times bestselling author of Playing with Fire).

In the twilight between sleep and consciousness, a battle rages. The Dream Guardians harness the energy created in slumber, even going so far as to fuel the sexual fantasies of those asleep to create maximum power. The Nightmares, however, feed on fear and distress, and it is up to the Guardians to protect their charges . . .

Aidan Cross is a Dream Guardian who pleasures the women he protects through deeply erotic dreams. It is physically satisfying if somewhat empty emotionally, for these women do not realize he is more than a fantasy. Until Lyssa Bates. For some reason, she recognizes him and knows his purpose . . . and still welcomes him into her bed. But just as their passion threatens to consume him body and soul, a danger lurks, for Lyssa is the Key that has been prophesized to destroy his world . . .
