  Cop shows have been a staple of the media almost from the beginning. These fictional accounts created the easy to understand the formula of  ‘’ diabolical crime plus brilliant detective equals the sometimes not-so-obvious solution’’. 
   
  But in the early years of the 1950s something radically different came along. 
   
  21st precinct was a very dramatic police drama and based on the workings of a true life Police Department, described in the program as ‘’just lines on a map of the city of New York, most of the 173,000 people wedged into the nine-tenths of a square mile between 5th Ave and the East River wouldn't know if you ask them they lived or worked in the 21st. Whether they know it or not, the security of their persons, their homes, and their property is the job of the men of the 21st.’’ 
   
  From the opening phone call the listener is right in the middle of the drama. Privy to the actual workings from start to conclusion. 
   
  The 21st’s manpower was made up of 160 patrolmen, eleven sergeants, and four lieutenants, under the command of one captain - Frank Kennelly, played by Everett Sloane, who was also the show’s narrator.

  Grace to see is about the many different trials I have personally faced in my life. God has allowed to go through many different hardships, and I almost gave up many times. In my book I talk a lot about how God helped me overcome many feelings of anger, bitterness, shame, self hate, etc. and learn how to forgive, and have true joy. We have many different enemies in life, and the main one is the real Enemy, Satan. He is seeking who he can devour and make them give up. I tell my story of how I almost gave up, but how I overcame and try to give hope to hurting and broken people. I hope my story will reach many people and give them hope, and help them not give up. If God can bring me through everything that He has so far, He can and will do it for them too.

It gained attention on national outlets such as "Unsolved Mysteries," "America's Most Wanted," "Nancy Grace," and more. It wasn't until 2003 that former Chart Director for Cash Box magazine, Richard D'Antionio was convicted of the murder. The closure of the conviction seems to have marked a new chapter for Sammy Sadler. The following year, he released his first album since the murder on music row, HARD ON A HEART. Building on this momentum, Sadler has gone on multiple tours, recorded several new albums, and is taking back all that was robbed of him that one night in 1989. Today, he has one message...his story is far from over.

Montaigne wrote his essays not from a position of certainty but an from awareness of his inadequacy. Stefan Zweig dedicated a character study to this Michel de Montaigne, this French nobleman and freethinker among the religious dogmatists and political quarrels of the 16th century. With 'Montaigne' in 1942, Stefan Zweig laid the capstone of his essayistic biographical work, although it remained a fragment. The audiobook is based on the English translation from Vanessa Walsh from 2021.
