ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK
"Artemis Fowl" by Eoin Colfer tells the story of Artemis Fowl II, a young criminal mastermind who discovers the existence of fairies and seeks to exploit them to restore his family's lost fortune. He captures a L.E.Precon officer, Captain Holly Short, holding her for ransom and setting off a conflict with the Lower Elements Police. The L.E.P., a technologically advanced fairy force led by Commander Root, attempts to retrieve Holly, using a variety of methods, including a bio-bomb, and recruits a kleptomaniac dwarf named Mulch Diggums to infiltrate Fowl Manor. The story revolves around a battle of wits between Artemis and the fairies, exploring themes of greed, power, and the clash between two different worlds. Artemis's plans are constantly challenged, but he manages to stay one step ahead of his adversaries, who underestimate his intellect. The story is full of unexpected twists and turns, blending magic, mystery, and humor, as Artemis attempts to outmaneuver the fairies.
