My last job before retirement was as a Quality Assurance Analyst for Mastercard in St Louis, Missouri My love and passion of writing led me to join a Youth group in Brooklyn, NY where I was instrumental in writing many skits and plays for them. My first book was Called "Growing Up Bajan" which chronicled my life and early memories in and of Barbados. After living and working for several years in New York, I relocated to Georgia with my wife Zola Faye-Walkes. My burning passion to continue writing has been heightened by retirement and my desire to succeed in this field.

She lived in a house of many young women in Chalk Farm London and as a young wife on a Royal Airforce base in Cambridgeshire. Story telling runs deep within in her and as a young Australian in England she certainly got that opportunity.
